Shaanxi polyester cotton fabric is not unfamiliar to many friends, but how to distinguish the authenticity of Shaanxi polyester cotton fabric is quite unfamiliar.

. Today, Shaanxi Xinxing Textile will introduce several methods for identifying Shaanxi polyester cotton fabric, hoping to be helpful to everyone

1. Hand and Eye Detection

This is a relatively simple and convenient identification method.

. Judging the morphology, luster, and strength of fibers through visual, tactile, and auditory methods. For example, hemp fibers have a rough and hard texture, wool fibers are curly and elastic, silk is long silk with a special luster and a "silky sound", spandex has great elasticity, and so on. Of course, this method has poor accuracy, and the testing personnel need to have rich testing experience

2. Combustion method

Based on the different chemical composition of fibers, the combustion characteristics are also different. By observing the combustion characteristics, odor, and residue of textile fibers when approaching, in, and leaving the flame, judgment can be made.

. According to this method, textile fibers can be roughly divided into three categories: cellulose fibers, protein fibers, and synthetic fibers. For example, cellulose fibers such as cotton, hemp, viscose, modal, lyocell, copper ammonia fibers, etc., do not melt or shrink when close to flames, and have a burning smell when burned; Protein fibers such as wool, mulberry silk, and tussah silk have a burning odor when burned; When polyester burns, it is accompanied by black smoke and a sweet odor; Acrylic fiber has a pungent odor when burned; Nylon has an amino odor when burned; When vinegar fiber is burned, there is a noticeable acetic acid smell and so on. This method is suitable for single component fibers, yarns, and fabrics, and can serve as an auxiliary judgment method for blended products

3. Microscopic method

This is a widely used method to identify fibers based on their longitudinal and transverse morphological characteristics.

. For example, cotton has natural curvature, linen has horizontal and vertical stripes, wool has scales, rabbit hair has single or multiple rows of hair, silk has a special luster, viscose fibers have clear stripes in the longitudinal direction, modal fibers have grooves in the longitudinal direction, Lyocell fibers have smooth and uniform longitudinal directions, polyester fibers have smooth surfaces, some have small black spots, acrylic fibers have grooves or stripes on the surface, and so on. This method is not only applicable to pure textile products, but also to blended and interwoven products, accurately distinguishing various fibers based on their typical characteristics

4. Dissolution method

Due to the different chemical compositions of fibers, their solubility performance varies for the same chemical solvent.

. For those fibers that are difficult to distinguish, this method can be used to make further judgments. For example, for difficult to distinguish polyester and nylon, a drop of hydrochloric acid is sufficient; Acrylic and polyester, just a drop of nitric acid is enough
